As We Look at Our July WIN Luncheon Coming Up That Is All-About Networking...We Want You To Ask Yourself This Question.."Are You Connecting or Just Communicating?"

Do you feel like you communicate a lot—on your blog, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Blog, You Tube, etc.  Do you process 100's of emails a day and send as many text messages?  Maybe it's time to take a minute and ask yourself are you mistaking communication for connection?  Are you fostering real relationships or just shooting out a message out?  In business today and with amazing technology at our hands, it is easy to fall into this way of thinking.  So, this post is to encourage you to get back to "old-school" networking and face to face meetings.  We hope all of you regular WIN attendees are doing your one-on-one meetings.  Don't forget to tag WOMEN IN NETWORKING NWA on Facebook with your meeting pics for a chance to win a blowout from Urban Bliss Salon. 
Think about it!...Do most of your sales come from someone who knows you and your business personally?  Or, how about successes in your career, did most of those come from developing a real relationship with someone who helped you get a job or a customer.  If we really think about it most of our successes, especially in small business, probably have come from true relationships where we connect with a person and not just communicate with them.  So in honor of this post, WIN is posing this question.  Tell us what do you do to really connect with people?  Please share your ideas here with our WIN community!
